Wow. I haven't been very good about keeping up with the blog here have I? I'll work on that.
I just wanted to write a quick post to explain why I've removed the perusal copies of some of my plays from the site. Basically it comes down to quality. I had some scripts up for perusal that I began writing when I was 18, and while they are interesting in a "look at what this kid wrote" way, I don't feel they are indicative of the current style or quality of my work, and have decided to pull them from the site. The links to the synopses are still there and if you really want to read them please feel free to email me and I'll send you a copy, but for now, the only scripts available will be those that have been produced, or that I feel are more representative of my current work.
I am hoping to get my new adaptation of Romeo and Juliet up soon. (For clarification: not "Breaking Light," this is a direct adaptation of Shakespeare.) Production plans for the adaptation had to be scrapped/ postponed due to money issues, but I'm hoping they will be revived sometime in the next year with myself remaining attached in the title role.
That's all for now. I'll try and be better about keeping the site and blog updated. - Nic
